The University of Zurich is a founding member of S-ADCN, the network of Swiss universities and research institutions supporting dual career couples founded in 2019.
S-ADCN supports cooperation and networking between the participating institutions. The aim is to create favorable conditions within the Swiss academic landscape to support dual career couples. For this purpose, the involved institutions – all universities, Paul Scherrer Institute and four universities of applied sciences – agreed on six measures and set them out in a letter of intent.
The agenda of S-ADCN includes the exchange of information about the current dual career services, the placement of contact persons, references to job offers of the member institutions or the development of best practices.
swissuniversities, the umbrella organization of the Swiss universities, officially recognized S-ADCN as a network of swissuniversities in September 2019.
